Failure is not an option. Its a requirement.

As another economic cycle comes to an end many of us will face new obstacles and challenges. During the best times, many of us forget the many variables that can contribute to our success. Timing, great economy, momentum, acquired skills, luck, and who we meet along the way. One thing is always certain, and that is at some point these variables come out of alignment. For many of us who have been coasting in the comfort zone, it will jolt us back into reality.

It is in these times of complete disruption that we reinvent ourselves. It's not that we necessarily fail, but our old ways of thinking and strategizing have become outdated during the course of time and it is during these times we find new solutions and begin to evolve with the environment around us.

History is filled with examples of great people who failed miserably. Sometimes they failed hundreds of times before they found the solution, but if it's one thing all these people had in common is that the failure did not deter them but only made them more determined to figure it out. Their strategies evolved. Their resilience intensified and they became masters of their craft.

I am conveying this wisdom because during these turbulent times we may take these circumstances personally without realizing the underlying reality and not embracing the evolutionary process. Whatever the current circumstance is we must remain confident in the balance of the natural laws of the universe.

Now is the time to hone a new skill, learn a new strategy for investing, seek alternative sources of passive income, and spend more time with your family and the ones you love. Embrace the failures and see them for they are as merely challenges to the situation, adapt, and evolve.
