The Association for Visual Arts, the “Creative Hands” exhibit showcases the newest members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. This free event takes place on Friday, April 14th, from 6–9 p.m. at 30 Frazier Ave. in Chattanooga. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy beautifully handcrafted art and support local artists.

For a fun family event, head to Northgate Mall from Friday, April 14th to Sunday, April 23rd, for the Spring Carnival. With rides, games, and food options available, there’s something for everyone. Prices range from $1.25-$50, depending on the activities you choose.

Music lovers won’t want to miss the Road to Nightfall at the Granfalloon on Friday, April 14th, from 7–11 p.m. For only $10, you can watch talented local bands compete in the preliminary rounds. It’s a great way to discover new talent and support the local music scene.

Rock City Gardens is celebrating Earth Day with its annual Earthdayz event, running from Saturday, April 15th to Sunday, April 23rd. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the Wings to Soar show while listening to live music. Tickets range from $19.95-$29.95.

For a chance to give back to the community, participate in Pickup for a Pint — Litter Cleanup on Saturday, April 15th, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Wanderlinger Brewing Co. After helping to clean up the local area, enjoy a pint on the house. This event is free, but be sure to RSVP.

The Walnut Street Bridge Festival is a free event taking place on Sunday, April 16th, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The festival is located on the Walnut Street Bridge and features local vendors selling their goods, live music, and great food options. It’s a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon while supporting local businesses.

If you’re looking for a unique shopping experience, check out the She Bop “Garden Party” Market on Sunday, April 16th, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. This free event takes place at the Common House and features 15 local artists and makers selling their products. You can also participate in a clothing swap and listen to live poetry readings.
